An Instagram trend adapted into a before-and-after product story, showing the change from equipment on the floor to a complete PegGrid gear wall.
The goal
Show the storage system in use, with the range of equipment it can hold as the focus of the story.
My contribution
I completed the production independently: concept, shot planning, lighting, filming and editing.
The creative idea
I adapted Instagram’s “master of none” trend to the idea of having many interests and needing a place for the equipment that comes with them.
The deliverable
A finished 720 × 1280 vertical brand film, approximately 11 seconds long.
Shot sequence
Set up the problem.
Open on boards, helmets and storage boxes gathered on the floor, with “master of none” on screen.
Reveal the change.
Cut to the completed PegGrid wall, showing the same mix of interests organised vertically.
Let the result read.
Finish on a second view of the storage setup so viewers can take in the equipment and layout.
Lighting & edit
The lighting treatment is bright and natural, keeping the white panels and dark equipment readable.
The edit uses a short before-and-after structure: a recognisable trend at the opening, followed by the organised-wall reveal. The final piece is approximately 11 seconds in a 9:16 portrait format.
Outcome
The completed film was published on PegGrid’s Instagram. The original Reel is linked here and the film is included in the brand-film collection below.
